Jahanian Combat Press publishes essays and books about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This page sets out the limits of what those publications are and are not.
Last updated: January 12, 2026
Our publications are works of essay and memoir. They are not technique manuals and they are not a substitute for in-person instruction from a qualified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach. Practising any martial art involves physical risk; do so only under proper supervision.
Our editorial choices are independent. We do not accept paid placement, and our reviews of equipment, academies, or events are written without commercial consideration.
From time to time we link to academies, podcasts, and articles we admire. We are not responsible for the content of external sites.
We do our best to ensure that the information on this site is correct at the time of publication. If you spot an error, please tell us so we can fix it.
